I first saw it mentioned on a TikTok video, then after I’d seen it once, it seemed to be mentioned everywhere in the side hustle community.
But is Friend PC legit?
The only info I could find about it was other people pushing it on the internet. I wanted to see people I trust either vouching for it, or saying stay away. But either way, I didn’t have an answer.

Friend PC seems to be a service where people can sign up to either pay for friendship or get paid to be a friend. Like with all barely heard of side hustles I learn about on TikTok, I assumesd it’s concealed sex work.
I get that it works for some people, but I’m just not up for selling pics of my bum to strangers.
When I took a proper look at the website, there does seem to be an option to be a virtual girlfriend, but there are also options for paid platonic friendships too. I decided to skip getting paid to be a girlfriend (I’m a married mum of 3, it didn’t really seem right) and signed up to be a normal friend.
Friend PC Sign Up Prices
There are three options for signing up. To be a starter friend is free, but a professional friend is $10 per 2 months and best friend is $25 per 3 months.
I didn’t want to lose money for the sake of experimentation, so I signed up for a free membership.
The only trouble with that was that I can’t get it to work. I suspect if you pay, the website might work a little better, but I’m not willing to pay to find out. Maybe another day.
Friend PR Doesn’t Work?
Almost every function I clicked had an error message. I couldn’t add a service, I couldn’t change details or even look around the site.
It was hard to navigate anyway, but the site also seemed to be mostly down.
To give it the benefit of the doubt, I tried again on two more days and each one had the same result. Very annoying.
Without being able to use the site properly, I can’t say either way if you can make some decent money from it, but I suspect not.
It’s possible that the TikTok that brought Friend PC to my attention has gone viral and interested people are crashing the site, but I’m not so sure.
Why are People Suggesting Friend PC?
You’re probably wondering why everyone on TikTok and Facebook are pushing it so much if you can’t earn money.
Friend PC has an affiliate programme which pays anyone who has referred paying users to it. So if you tell everyone they can make a lot of money from it and they sign up through your link, you will earn money from that.
I would guess that perhaps the people pushing it have never used it and are hoping to cash in from people like us signing up.
What is the Rest of the World Saying About Friend PC?
Other than the people pushing their own sign up links on social media, I’ve not been able to find anyone who actually uses it and make money. The majority of users talking about it on Reddit are asking if it’s legit, but receiving no solid answer.
This leads me to believe there isn’t anyone out there getting rich off Friend PC. If you know differently, please get in touch. I do genuinely find this really interesting and I love a good side hustle chat.
Friend PC Verdict
I personally wouldn’t bother. I don’t see anybody making much money from this site unless it gets a lot better. If you’re looking to earn money from online friendships, keep looking.
