Toledo
As the state’s 4th largest city, Toledo is a port city that is vital to much of the local economy. The cost of living is low compared to national statistics, however, the average salary is lower than the national average as well. Studies have shown that most people live comfortably.
This city is also known for its friendliness. It is said that the residents of Toledo are genuinely polite and helpful. The locals enjoy welcoming newcomers, helping their neighbors, and saying hello to everyone they meet. It’s always uplifting to know that your neighbors are kind-hearted.
In addition to the overall positive attitudes of Toledoans, there is a strong diverse culture here. They have cultural heritage festivals all year-round to celebrate the cuisine of the world. There is a large Hispanic and African American presence here. One of the main attractions that highlight their cultural diversity is the Toledo Museum of Art.
