Heat Pumps
Heat pumps can also be regarded as a two-way air conditioner. It pumps out hot air from inside of your house and dumps into relatively hotter outsides during summers. While, in winters, the process is reversed.
This system is typically the most expensive of all to maintain. It uses a forced warm air delivery mechanism to control indoor temperature. Depending upon where the system is installed, it can either be an air-source heat pump or geothermal heat pump. The former is usually installed outside the house in an open atmosphere. In contrast, the latter is usually installed underground or in the basement of a building structure.
Upon careful comparison, you can easily make out that fireplaces are the most suitable option for all sizes of houses. Plus, they are an additional decorative inclusion to the interiors of a home. But, for more efficient heating, you can choose any other type of heating system.
