Are you ready to dive into the world of stunt scootering? Look no further than the MGP Carve Mini Pro Rookie X Stunt Scooter. With its vibrant lime and black colour mix and compact design, this scooter is perfect for riders aged 4 and above who are eager to hit the ramps and shred with style.
We received the MGP Carve Mini Pro Rookie X from Skatehut for the purpose of this review, and here’s why we love it.
It’s a top choice for young riders looking to unleash their inner daredevil!

Designed for Young Riders
MGP (Madd Gear Pro) seems to understand the unique needs of young riders, which is why they’ve crafted the Carve Mini Pro Rookie X with smaller and younger riders in mind. My youngest often looks on at her nine year old brother playing on his stunt scooter disappointed she’s too small to have a go. Thankfully, these guys have brought out some kids scooters that suit a smaller rider.

Now she’s got her very own stunt scooter and she’s rearing to go. I’m so pleased they make this size so she doesn’t have to miss out.
This scooter is built to withstand the rigors of stunt riding while remaining lightweight and easy to maneuver for little ones.
I think it’s ideal for riders who are just starting their journey in the world of scootering, especially if they’re on the younger side.
Pro-Inspired Performance
The Carve Mini Pro Rookie X is inspired by the setup of Charley Dyson, the youngest rider ever to secure a place on the MGP UK Pro Team at just 8 years old.
Drawing from Dyson’s expertise, this scooter delivers pro-level performance in a pint-sized package.
From the lightweight extruded alloy downtube to the triple-channeled deck for weight reduction, every aspect of the Rookie X is designed to help young riders take their skills to the next level.
Durable Construction

Durability is paramount when it comes to stunt scooters, and the MGP Carve Mini Pro Rookie X doesn’t disappoint.
Featuring one-piece chromoly riser bars and aluminum IHC threadless forks, this scooter is built to withstand the toughest tricks and landings.
Whether your young rider is practicing tailwhips at the skate park or perfecting their grinds in the driveway, the Rookie X is up to the challenge. To be fair, my young rider is practicing her balance, but I’m sure we’ll see some more adventurous scooting in the near future.
Smooth Riding Experience
The Carve Mini Pro Rookie X is equipped with 100mm wheels with a durometer rating of 88A, providing a smooth and stable ride on a variety of surfaces.
The ABEC 5 bearings ensure excellent roll and spin, while the V2 Blitz Flex Fender brake offers reliable stopping power when needed.

With these features, young riders can focus on honing their skills without worrying about their equipment holding them back. You see so many cheaply made scooters for younger kids that don’t take this into account and just clank on down the the path. I’m really impressed with how smooth this scooter is.
MGP Carve Mini Pro Rookie X Review Final Thoughts
The MGP Carve Mini Pro Rookie X Stunt Scooter is a fantastic choice for young riders who are passionate about scootering.
I’d recommend it to other parents who have younger kids interested in stunt scooters. There must be millions of younger siblings out there, desperate to get their very own stunt scooter just like their big brother or sister.
This scooter makes for a great present too, it’s got such a wow factor when you lay eyes on it. The colours are pretty neutral so that girls or boys would love it, but they’re bright and striking and just scream excitement. This scooter is a 10 out of 10 for me.
