Money Saving

I Got £70 Worth of Clothes for just £3!

I love a haul post as much as the next blogger, but when that haul is a huge bargain, I love it all the more!

When Tesco announced they would no longer be doing the in-store Clubcard boost I threw a little bit of a strop.

Usually that Clubcard boost would account for a good portion of my Christmas shopping, so them taking it away was a real blow to me. I stopped checking my points balance because I didn’t have a reason to care any more.

I know, I’m being melodramatic.

It feels like Tesco sensed my upset because this week they kindly sent me a £10 off voucher for clothing purchases of £40 and over. When I checked my Clubcard vouchers, I had £30 to spend in store.

To me, this meant £40 of free money to spend in F+F (yay)!

So off I trotted to my local store, only to discover there was a massive sale on (isn’t it wonderful when the stars just seem to align).

So now I’ll brag about what I’ve got.

Navy fine knit jumper with lacy black shirt feature at the bottom

RRP £20 / Sale price £12

This stretchy casual jumper is perfect for the lazy autumn days. It’s hard to find the right combination of ‘warm enough, but not too warm’, but this feels perfect. The mock shirt detail at the bottom dresses it up and makes it a little more interesting too.

Embroidered black short tunic

RRP £18 / Sale price £9

I’m loving the folksy look at the moment, it lends itself my lax hair care and its natural wave. The folk look allows you to relax the polished look that summer demands but the beautiful patterns keep you looking stylish.

Navy floral embroidered  open-wear blouse

RRP £20 / Sale price £10

I told you I was loving all things folksy! This blouse is meant to be warn over something as a light layer. Think a twist on last year’s kimono trend. I’ll be wearing mine with skinny jeans and a plain vest.

Indigo Jeggings

RRP £12

These weren’t in the sale but I’d seen my friend earlier in the day and she was extolling the virtues of Tesco jeggings so I thought I’d investigate what the hype was about. This is actually my first ever pair, I’m usually the type of person who likes to keep their leggings and jeans separate, but I’ll give them a bash!

There you have it, my bargain haul

RRP £70 / Basket Total £43 / Amount to pay after vouchers £3!

  1. Great shopping haul. I’m with you..really upset with Tesco for stopping clubcard boost. To the point where I am stopping using the Tesco credit card to build up my points now:-( #5frugalthings

  2. Great haul! We don’t have a Tesco nearby so I don’t earn many points, but I’ve used them in the past to get tickets for places like Pensthorpe that we’d never buy normally.
